I want a power of around 330kw - 350kw with 550nm - 600nm torque.
If The XR series will get optional Brembos, then the T-series range should get them standard? If so then GTHO should get 6 pot 400mm(?) discs all round.
19" alloys with Pirelli P-zero rubber.
The Best control Blade IRS around with Koni shockers or whatevers the best.
Maybe some ligjhtweight carbon fibre panels (I know these are expensive but the will be too) and even maybe a shaker like on that ornage mach I Mustang.
Not many creature comfports. I'm nto into all that, have A/c and Radio but nothing unecessary. Unleathered Recarro racing bucket seats.
Twin exhaust system like the Bmw M5.
In other words, compared too the T3 TE50 I want it to handle even better, be about 100kg lighter, over a second quicker 0-100km and 400metre times. Better stopping distances. Better sound (will the 5.4 sound better than a our beloved Windsor?)
What would you all like to see?

Crikey you don't ask for much do you. If you want that package expect to pay ~$130-150k
For mine, Take the TS, give it better seats, brembo's standard, 300-350kw & a killer sound system. Would be willing to pay ~$80-85k for it.

Hmm maybe 150k is ford want to make a HUGE PROFIT from a car that will probably be sold in numbers with tripple figures. A limited edition whch I never thought Ford ever made for a profit, but rather a car to boost brand image.
One way or another I don't care becasue I wiould never be able to afford it, I would be very lucky to even be able to afford an XR6 turbo or XR8 in a few years, not to mention the insurance.
Anyway I hope some of what I listed will make it ontp the GTHO, but if all of them did I could see it as Australias fastest and best production car ever, and thre worlds fastest sedan also.

Just a little off topic here (very little) but if we can go out and buy an exhaust system that is better flowing and even better sounding than the standard one and is legal, why can't Ford fit such a system?
Also, just wondering, what would you have to change to the Arrow Coupe to make it a GT? It's got grunt, brakes, seats, acceleration, sound... just no bonnet scoop and yuck wheels! Being the old fart that I am (cough) I don't really know what makes a GT as they were WELL before my day.

Yes they were well before you day, and mine! I still know what made a GT, but they were in the 20th century and irrelevant.
All I know is what will make a 21st century GT. Quad cams, disc brakes, independant rear suspensions, more comfort and safety.

i love that shaker on that 'stang you'd also have to have a retro style rear wing like the XY one .... make it adjustable !! yeah big arse wheels and brakes and limit the colours to bout 3 or 4 that way ya know its a GT (bring back the super-roo sticker!!!!! ) maybee a set of bulging guards to fit the rubber! also the Hillier 2 door would make a FAB GT hardtop
has to have more go than the GTS-300 maybee 350 but the bar cant be raised too high or the "supercar"war will happen all over again i mean we dont want a repeat of the phase 4 do we
Bring out a re-released batch of xy GTHO with all modern comforts of todays cars. After all there is and only will be one GTHO which will truly fit the bill.
350kw of power, brembro brakes standard, virtually best of everything, and it would have to do low 6's 0-100, and low 13's for a quarter mile
