This thread was on LS1.com.au a while back, and ended up being one of the funniest, thought i'de start it here.

As the title suggests, what does your other half think of-

1. Mods to the car: yes they are welcomed, no i keem them quiet etc

2. Motorsport activities: they go with you and are happy, you drag them with you, they quite voilently reject going at all

3. Forum usage: How much sh#t do you get in for spending time on here?


Since my missus has moved down to melb from Rockhampton i've performed my training duties/bullshittery quite well. She knows the mods i've done before she came, she doesnt about the ones i have since she's been here. She isnt a fan of motorsport, although the last few weeks she;s been to the drags twice, FPV day, Motorshow, and the grand prix.

As for the forums usage though, it starts quite a few arguments. I dont think they realise how much we miss if we're not on here for a few days!

Well it goes like this....

1. Mods to the car: she has no say, its my money and my car :)

2. Motorsport activities: she will come with me if i go, but doesnt really like it, but drags me places i dont like so its all even

3. Forum usage: None, my forums are all at work or when i am not with her

As long as you pay your share of the bills, she shouldn't have a say how you spend the rest unless it's on charming other ladies.
Personally, I'm looking around - chatting to a girl online currently who likes F1 and V8 supercars, so off to a good start!

My other half love's all motorsport,mod's and anything to do with vehicle's (ford's in general)I think I have scored well, we go to all event's together.

What does your other half think of-

1. Mods to the car:

I do my thing and he approves most of the time. I don't mess with his mods on the bikes, so he doesn't mess with my idea's for the car.

2. Motorsport activities:

We both go and love it. Either he goes with the guys and me with the girls, or we go together.

3. Forum usage:

No sh*t at all. Networking of ADSL does wonders!
