The NHRA Funny Car ET record is 4.713, set by Whit Bazemore in his '04 Dodge Stratus.

The NHRA Funny Car MPH record is 330.55mph (528.88km/h) set by Gary Scelzi, also in an '04 Dodge Stratus.

Funny Cars and Doorslammers are quite a different breed. With a Doorslammer, you usually have a 3000hp Blown V8, and street car style suspension, so they're all bouncy and scary. Funny Cars have rigid suspension. They also have Nitro V8s like Top Fuel, and make similar HP numbers to Top Fuel. T/F and F/C are quite similar actually, the biggest differences being in body & chassis.
