XA yep sure are in US dollars. The 70 odd US they want for that car is around the 130,000 aussie dollar mark, The you have to import the car (imagime trusting someone to put that into a shipping container) and if you want it on the road it is going to cost you in changing headlights, tyres, rear indicators and a few other mods. That is if you want to keep it LHD. A RHD conversion well I think you could add another 10,000 on top minimum.

There are a few getting around, a friend of mine looked at one in Melbourne 2 years ago. There were a few issues he was concerned about with the car so he baulked on buying it. He changed his mind a week latter and the car was sold. He ended up buying a Shelby instead. There seems to be more 70's models that 69 Boss's

Ummmm I dont think you would need 300K for a shelby. I saw a beautiful 65 GT-350 (low miles as well) last year which cost around $120 Aus dollar mark. Funny a friend who owns a Shelby GT-500 would swap it for a 65 GT-350 any day of the week.

You can get the last model Shelby mustangs 69-70 for around $80,000 Aus
