Try for a later (Series II >93) EB or ED. Lowered with 17s sounds cool, don't see many sporty wagons.

Ok heres the deal, any wagon from EBII onwards are pretty good in refinement, power and reliability.
Obviously if you go the later it will be a better model.
In performance EBII's were actually quicker in acceleration than ED's as they had the 3.27 diff's in em and opposed to the 3.08.
All Inline 6 engines from EBII onwards were 4.0L.

EBII 148kw 3.27 final drive
ED 148kw 3.08 final drive
EF-EL 157kw 3.08 final drive (3.23 for manuals:s5 :s5)
