Iv been on the look out for a second hand AU2 and its driving me crazy. Some people are insane wanting crazy prices for their cars I can't seem to find any sane people.

I was looking for opions from you guys what you would pay for the following..

AUII - Forte
AUII - S or SR

The trading post has been no help i look for cars between 2000-2002 find about 15 max. The I try carsales.com.au find nothing decent either. I found an AUII S manual but they wanted $20,000. Come on I can get an AU3 from ford for less then that with warranty. Can anyone give me some suggestions Im all out of idea's the only place I can think of is an auction.

Im sick of all so seeing 'series 2' when its a god dam series 1 !!!

Any suggestions would be helpful and what 'sane' prices would be for these cars, im not paying $19,000 for a AUII forte with 75,000km on the clock !!!

Oh btw wanna try to keep it under 14k as when I get the car it will be ASAP T3 kit.

Ford will do some insane deals on AU's i reckon.. If you're really keen, i'd go see your dealer, and see what they can do...

Nothing wrong with the looks of a AU with a T3 kit on it! Just dont put badges on it that say what it aint

Yeh I considered the bages and thought... nah no way. The kit is very nice but ill need some 18" to get it going.

Iv been to my ford dealer the last thing they where interested in was selling anyone a car. Got treated poorly along with everyone else in the yard it was disappointing.

If anyone knows where there is an AUII in brissy in the colour Venom Red under 15k Id be a very happy person if you let me in on the details.

I'm sure the Ford site has a 2nd hand car search engine on it as well. Last I checked it was QLD only as well.

Thanks guys but I was wondering can you give me an idea of what I would be looking at paying. Thats the biggest thing right now im not sure exactly what a 'good deal' is on these types of cars and I don't want to be ripped or miss a bargain.

Nothing worse then buying it and finding out iv just been ripped off.

goto Google, click on the Australia sites button then enter the following..

Ford "AU" "series 2" price $

include the quotes and checkout the sites in your state, (this will net you most of the online sales sites as well as caryards with web pages.
