Whats everyone been doing. I just came back from an Extreme Air competition and it was awesome. Unbelievable motorcross bike jumping, BMX stunts ,Skateboarding,Rollerblading and live bands.I was gobsmacked at these motorbike riders. They would ride up at speed on these ramps and fly heck knows how high in the air which was impressive enough but some climbed off the bloody thing and trailed behind it in mid air hanging on the back gaurd with one hand then pulled themselves forward onto the seat and still landed the thing without falling off.You have got to see this stuff to believe it.The BMX riders were incredible as well i mean i didn't think you could do the sort of stuff they were doing.Very very impressive.
Never seen a Moto cross display with BMX's aswell??!!!
I have just got back from the first 1/4 mile dash of the year at Crail Airfield , over here in Scotland .
Some serious metal about aswell , there was a jet powered car but it seemed a bit all show and no go but fun with the flames and all . As for the cars plenty of fast turbos .
Subaru's ten to the dozen !!!, EVO's 4's 6's and a couple of 7's , Escort Cosworths every where ,Mazda RX7 , BMW M3's, Sierra Cosworths , Skyline R33 , Subaru SVX (what an ugly car!!!LOL) . And more moddified Corsa's , Saxo's and Puggies than you could shake a stick at !!!!
One boy turned up in an Audi RS Estate and blew everything away nice surprise for the Impreza owners !!!LOL.
So fun was had by all and this is now on every two weeks so I think I will be going more often .

John
The Flying Haggis
Sounds like some nice stuff to look at John.Every 2 weeks is amazing. The competition had different events set up over a large area. Some BMX was inside a large court and some outside on a field with big piles of dirt setup to jump over.It was a real eye opener.

To be honest I don't know what TAFE fully stands for but it's like Tertiary education, the place where you do like certificates in any field you lie eg hospitality, motor mechanics, hair dressing ect. It's also the place where you do trade school.
And that's a Valiant charger i want, with a 265 HEMI. Although I wouldnt argue if someone offered me a nice 1970 Dodge Charger with a 426 Hemi.

OK I think the same are called Polytech here.
Those 265s go quite well.
I haven't been around much. Been over to the Tickford day for the last 5 days or so and before that the pop in my area was taken out by an electrical storm so I had no net access for a couple days prior to the trip.
