What's In A Name

What's in a name?

The medal winning Olympic runner, Picabo (pronounced Peek-A-Boo), is not just an athlete, she is a nurse.

She currently works in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of large South African metropolitan hospital. She is not permitted to answer the telephone while she is at work, however. It simply caused too much confusion when she would answer the phone and say: "Picabo, ICU"

A good clean story is hard to find these days

Re: What's In A Name

Hehhe not bad that one!

A former workmate of mine has a mother call Rita and her last name is Senior. Back in the "older" days many years ago she went in to the Hospital for a check up I believe, and they used to call patients by their last name, then their first name. Therefore she got called "Senorita". Apparently everyone used to look at her and think, "Why does she get special treatment".

Would you like to change your name to Homer Junior? People can call you Hoju.
