What's your favourite engine note?

I've just been wondering what everyone's favourite engine note is. Personally a 351 Clevo sounds HORN and TOUGH and is very hard to beat. Others that spring to mind are the good ol' Porsche engines as well as a pumped up Subi. Oh and I can't forget a 5.4L Boss with an aftermarket zorst system :s6: The whine of a supercharger would just make it that much better... Mmmm.......... *goes off day-dreaming*

So what's your favourite?

A stroked windsor... followed by a 351 windsor followed by a 302 Windsor. Can't really tell the sound of a Clevo when it's lying on the sea floor stopping the boat it's attached to from drifting away.

Hahah just kidding guys.. ANY V8 WINDSOR OR CLEVO will make my day!

Re: What's your favourite engine note?

if you ever get a chance to hear a porsche V8 being driven hard, then do it. tyhe best sounding engine i have ever heard.

i also love the sound of my V6 Sierra.

You wash your car like it was your firstborn child, you tend to its needs like it was your own body, you protect it like it's your family, then you drive it like you stole it.

Have any of you guys been near a new M3 going at full steam? OMG...its a crazy mix of toughness but also very mechanical; thats the best I can descrive it.
