Question Where do you get your MP3s from?

I know there was a thread on the topic some time ago but my memory lets me down. I've used Audiogalaxy for a while but all the songs that I'm after they've banned. So looking for new site/program. Any suggestions?

If you wanna know why AudioGalaxy started banning songs, refer to this.

Ah, that might explain an incident I had with an MP3 on Sunday night/Monday morning. I had downloaded a song from AudioGalaxy and had it sitting in the my downloads folder ready to rename and put into the folder where I keep my other MP3's. Then on Monday morning I go to move the song and it's not there. Now I'm sure I didn't delete it, and so I went back to download it again and it was barred. I think that maybe the Satellite had detected the newly banned song and deleted it. Not sure if that's exactly what happned but I think it's an invasion of my system for them to do that. Sure I obtained the song unethically (ie, not paying for it) but that still doesn't give anyone the right to come into my computer and delete it (without notice or warning)(if that's what happened).

Anyway, Kazaa Lite saved the day...

Other good sites for MP3s are www.simplemp3s.com and www.mp3speed.nu. These host entire albums and are updated almost daily.

AudioGalaxy is one of many with spyware attached, as is KaZaA.
KaZaA lite has the spyware removed.
When i needed to change to a different download program, i entered the name in "search" the web and found quite a few sites that tell you all about them (whether they have spyware attached etc.).

Food for thought

I get them from the local library, they have all the latest CD's from the Spice Girls to Merle Haggard. The internat is too slow for downloading anything of significance.
