Same again , but even during our summer all I do is go to the in-laws in france . But hey nice place in the country (Just outside Dijon) .

Next year were going to do a bit of a tour . Leave the wee one with granny and grampa (or should that be mammy and papy).

Then we head of to Strasbourg , poss The Nuremberg Ring , Brussels , then onto Amsterdam for the main event.

Only just finished reading a little bit about the Nuremburg Ring.

72 courners of "green Hell"

For $170 aus you get to go for a lap in an M5 with a an experienced driver. You can go around in your own car for about $20.

Me I thinkl I would want the full Monty. I have watched some footage of a 911 going around the track and boy what a track. I am going to get there one day.

I am jealous

They did test in the top gear magazine to see what would be the fastest round it . Think the list went

Ferrari 355 (Jeremy Clarksons own car)
Nissan Skyline GTR
911 Turbo (the older air cooled type 993 I think)
BMW M3
BMW Schnitzer M3

The Schnitzer Set the best lap but was then just beaten by the Skyline . They did an average of 3 drivers in each of the cars to get the best times .

So a Japanesse car hold the production car record . But in Europe what is a production car ??? Ruf 911 !!!!!! Koening Testarossa with a variable output valve to change the boost from 700Bhp to 800 to 900 to the max 1000 . Yes it does exist somewhere in Germany but never seen again since it features in a mag back in 1988.

i beleive the current fastest production car around nurburgring is the porsche gt2? I think there was a tuner car, the nismo nissan but that has been beated by the porsche tech art 911 in a recent test by a german motor magazine.

According to wheels.

Stefan Bellofs record lap of 194.3 km/h set in 83 in a porsche 956 sports car.

I suspect the top gear info above maybe more accurate though.
