Where is Ford going to head design-wise

I've been looking at other Ford models throughout 'the empire' and noticed that you can really see a common design theme. The new falcon clearly does not share this form. Now that we've learned how not to design a large car with "New Edge", and seen the new Mondeo, what do you all reckon the 2007 Falcon's gonna look like? Do we want it to look like this?

ahhhh the R7 Damn that's a sexy thing!
Well I don't think we need to worry to much I believe Ford Australia has learned alot in the last 5 years. If there were 2 things I hope that they remember the most they would be
1) Marketing - The Au could have been a seller had you got behind it a little more
2) Styling - the fact is that a dramtic looking family car will never sell. The key to family cars is classic lines and well tested looks small Euro niche cars can get away with extravagent style.

is there is no point about the AU worth mentioning, is that it is not dating at all! its still looks as a fresh as it did when it first rolled off the production line back in 98

With cars like the 2 photographed above, The only place Ford will be heading is to the top of the sales charts.

There's no substitute for cubic inches!

Photo looks good. I also agree that the AU is still holding up pretty well. IMO the AU interior was what really let it down, too much grey plastic. MY AU2 is better with the chrome highlights but nothing compared to the BA.
The VT Commodore wasn't great inside but was a massive improvement on the AU.

I think Ford has learnt its lesson. I can't imagine to many prospective customers sitting in a BA and not being totally impressed. Its clearly the best interior this side of $80000.

Driving a HSV is like masturbating with a cheese grater - slighly amusing but mostly painful
