where to get dog?

I am looking at getting a new dog/puppy, and was wondering which of the local pound or rspca would be better?
Or perhaps I could jsut go to both.

Re: where to get dog?

The RSPCA at Dakabin or Fairfield. All are de-sexed and vaccinated.
The prices are good (usually less than the price for de-sexing) and you get to save a poor little critter.
Older dogs are at more risk of being put down, as most people want puppies. Depends on what age of dog you are after.

I got my dog from the RSPCA in Fairfield. They were great and when she got sick 3 days later, they told us to drop her in for a check-up and made her all better!

Best of luck and I hope you and your new mate have lots of good times together!!!

Re: where to get dog?

I want a dog but mum and the cat don't. I guess I'll be asking the same question as the thread when I move out of home.
