Where is the stock !!!!

I do realise that the BA has just been launched etc etc etc
however WHERE ARE THE CARS THAT ARE FOR SALE!!!
My local Ford dealer (country NSW regional centre about 40k people) have only three cars....they do have heaps of people in looking for BA's but there is hardly anything to show the customer! The Holden dealer has an absolute heap of Commodores and I've already seen 3 new VY Magnadore SS' in the main street, bought locally.

It reminds me of the Ford Escape/Mazda Tribute scenario. Mazda had heaps of Tributes and Ford had bugger all. Go to Ford look at an Escape, then wait too long so go to Mazda to buy one now!

Come on guys, the car has been released and all I've seen is an XT and a Fairmont!

I get the feeling most of those already built have been pre-sold.
The last thing Ford needs is to not be able to meet a healthy demand.

They've been released for three days man ofcourse there aren't going to be thousands in each dealership. For make 400 a day and it takes 3 days to ship them to the dealership from Broadmedows so give them a break. Good things come to those who wait.

Yeah, you are right. They should have released the entire range in January 03 and give commodore a head start like they did with AU. Sounds good doesn't it.

I think they did have a delay from one of there suppliers I was told by one of my old work mates that Ford sent back 1000 rear exhausts due to faults. Thats the suppliers fault they are absoultly pathetic when it comes to quality and they provide the exhausts for all four major car companys

Thumbs up

The Ford dealer I went to today seemed to have a few which had already been sold. Out of around 100 cars I would say there were 15 BA's and 10 or so Focus' there. They must be selling quick still.

My local dealer has two XT demos and a cab/chassis being delivered - waiting for cars to come in that have already been sold - the orders are rolling in, just hope Ford can keep up.
