where do i start
my seatbelt broke in the backseat of my ED fairmont,so i go to get a new one but of course they have to change the seatbelts design halfway thought my model car and they don't make the one im after anymore,so what the HELL am i surpose to do pay FORDS rediclious prices for all new seatbelts in the back or hunt down a wrecker
id say try a wrecker or car part thingy
what exactly is broken anyway?

Should be fairly easy to track down a belt from a wrecker, couldnt see it costing too much either mate. Goin thru Ford was a bad move, they will take forever to get it and then charge you more per inch of seat belt than you are paying per litre of fuel at the moment :p
i can understand your miffed but come on.. Do you honestly expect Ford to manufacture or for that matter keep in stock every part for a 10 year old car.... ..
yea its a sneaky little trick from Ford.. the males and females on the belts not being inter-changable... Some Ed's use AU belts and some use EL ones.. So it not a safety issue, they just wanted to get rid of the orange tag/release and redesigned the whole belt...
