Hmmmm.....what to choose, what to choose ?
I really don't know, I guess I'd have to toss a coin !
They're both awesome vehicles, and both will definately haul some Holden arse !!!
I love the sound of a V8, but the sound of a spooling turbo is also pants splitting, especially the big-arse one on the Falcon !!!
I'd be happy with either one, or both, hehehe.
DAMN YOU FORD ! Why make such brilliant vehicles !!!
Funny thing really, it's no more FORD vs Holden, it's now FORD 6T vs FORD V8 vs Holden.
BTW, I reckon the XR8 will make mince meat out of a SV300.
The latest TE50 with 250kW (50kW less than the SV300), does the quarter in 0.1sec slower than the SV300 !! (according to Wheels).
The BA XR8 with the same amount of torque and 10 extra kW should easily be able to outperform the SV300. IMO

Don't get too excited - In MOTOR the SV 300 is almost half a second quicker than the TE 50and the R8 is quicker by 0.02!

The BA XR8 will need the extra needies as it's a heavy sucker - quicker down the qtr - we'll have to wait and see!
