Looking for the guy who bought my EF off me.

It seems that the transport ppl have not recieved the transferr papers i sent to them, and as such it says that I still own the car.

So if you read this, can u take your pink copy off the transfer papers into the cop shop and get it sorted (they told me to call u but i dont have your name or number)


Chances are the department are just being slack, but there is no record of them even recieving the stuff and rego note has just been sent out.

easy. cancel the rego...its still in your name. he will have to contact you to get ot soted so he can re rego it.

Im trying to find my phone bill with his nuber on it. Apparently if he doesnt contact the dudes within 2 weeks they do something... dunno what its not as if anyone knows who he is

Rang up the place about my current car, and they havent 'recieved' anything about that either, so i think someones being a little bit slack!

my old xf is registered to "unknown" LOL i had to transfer out of my name to rego my xe... but they couldnt find the guy on their computer, so its been transfered to no one hahaha

Jase id give him a week, and if he hasnt contacted you, cancel the rego, its that easy.

With Vicroads, you both fill out the form with licence numbers, etc, then the buyer takes it in to transfer the rego along with the roadworthy cert. The thing is, the form has 3 copies, you should have one for yourself. So, if the NSW system is similar, show them the completed form and they should bugger off and leave you alone

Seller sends one in
Buyer keeps one incase seller doesnt send one in.

In this case i (seller) sent it and they havent recieved it.
Dont have his details as he has other copy, and i didnt keep info as u dont expect to need to call someone a month after u sell it. And he hasnt put his in probably hasnt realised he hasnt got transfer stuff yet.

But i would put $5 on the forms are sitting on someones desk

Im going in tomorrow to get my new car put into my name :)
