Who saw QKMOVR at the Ford V. Hold Motorshow in Melb?
I don't have a picture of it at the moment (waiting on a friend to develop the film), but there was a midnight blue XC falcon sedan at the Ford Vs. Holden motorshow (plate: QKMOVR) that was easily the best I have ever seen. Chrome bits and BC rims, spotless off white leather interior, highly polished engine bay; it looked brand new.
I would like to meet the guy who owns that car and give him a huge thumbs up. Best In Show IMHO.
Anyone else see this mean piece of machinery?
The rest of the show was kind of drab by comparison. Sad looking cars left over from the real Motor show last year (Herrods' XPLODE car is looking a little worse for wear :( ). The only other highlight was, gulp, a Holden. Some absolute champion had taken the rusted out shell of an HK Premier and done one of the most meticulous restoration jobs I've come across. Very nice . . . and I don't even like the model.
