Anyboby know who won the wheels COTY award?
The final four were Holden Barina, BMW Compact, M-B C Class and the Toyota Prius. I think they were going to announce it today at 12 noon.

Wheels credibility is quickly getting flushed down the toilet.
Amazing isn't it that 2 years ago they gave COTY to the SL Merc (it was one of the Mercs) and they had the shite bagged out of them because it was so expensive, and this year they give it to a $14,990 car, I can see the same thing happening again.
Why is this such a big deal? Geez guys - if there is any news about anything Holden, you all go nuts about "bias" and how everyone sucks up to Holden, blah, blah, blah ...
I'd like to see some constructive reasoning as to why Car A is better than Car B, but all I see is "Holden Sux" ... Surely someone has some decent reasons why they think Barina shouldn't have won, other than this idea that the mags will only give the gongs to Holden products.
I'm not suggesting you all need to start liking Holden products, but this place is beginning to sound like BON used to be when I first started to visit ...
OK how about the fact that the Hyundai Accent won all those awards from the RACV, NRMA etc and its in the same class as the Barina, Why didn't the Barina win those awards?.
The whole COTY award is crap anyway they should change the THE to THIS so it means only releases for this year. I have no doubt that some people (Idiots) will now think the Barina is one of the best cars of all time when clearly it isn't.
Also I would be annoyed if it was a $14,990 car from Ford that won because it my book there is no way a car can win one of these awards at that price without being compromised in some way.
