I like to wait for series 2. I cannot think of a commo/falc where the series 1 was the car it should have been. Having said that, I'm sure I was the first to put cash down on an XR8 220 as I had to tell the dealer how to order it!

I definitly won't be the first to put my cash down for the BA Falcon. Will wait for a good few years, and will most likely buy near new even then.

biggrin Who's First???

I plan to change over my car in Jan 2003 for a new BA XR6T or XR8... (the lease will be up by then! - Good timming or what!)
Who wants to buy a AUII XR6VCT - Venum - Auto, Sept 2000 build (first reg Jan 2001) with about 80,000km on the clock by Jan2003.

I love the new look - (More than happy with the mean look of the AUII XR6).. If the BA drives the same or better that the AUII I will be more than happy. Can not fault the AUII...
The BA will be either a Red or Green one..
Roll on Jan 2003..!!

I won't be able to buy brand new.. I am looking at buying one later on.. Im going to upgrade my current car (with turbo, DOHC, 4 spot brakes etc) after I get back from overseas and then ~ 2-4 years later replace it with Series I or II barra..

With DOHC, turbo, 5 speed, 4 spots etc... Im not expecting it to be faster, just newer and of simular specification..

My old man may be one of the first customers to get one. He will probably place the order not long after it comes out.

I remember back to 1996, I didn't know the EL was released yet when Dad came home with one. It was the first one I had seen in the flesh. It was pretty cool.
