Why do people hate driving in Vic so much when.....

Driving 'legally' in NSW can cost almost $500!
i'm sorry, but i'd much prefer to drive on victoria speed camera riddled roads and get busted with a fine IF i do something wrong rather then have to put up with the worst roads i've ever driven on.
Driving around NSW for the past week and puncturing my 2 left hand tyre walls at the same time has tought me to avoid driving around sydney at any cost.
damn i love victoria's roads :D

You sure about that Vic part?? A simple 1/2hr drive in Vic can cost you $800 and all 12 points off your license. If your 10k's over? Freeway for example. No more license!

I hadn't had a fine in 3 years. They upped the camera presence etc. Sure enough I got my 1st speeding fine in 3yrs.

I wouldn't gloat about our roads!

Queensland's highways seemed pretty good to me.

That's true! Has anyone gone over the West Gate Bridge heading towards the city? Stay on the 3rd lane (2nd fastest) and near the Shell petrol station you'll see a pot hole and a half. Try going over that at 100 km/h in a small vehicle!

My Dad's been driving almost 50 years. He'd received 1 speeding fine for 67 in a 60 just near our place on a main road down a hill in the middle of nowhere. I'll never understand why it's not 70 there but it's always been a favourite haunt of the local revenue raisers.

He got his second fine recently for 74 in a 70 down quite a steep hill near where he works.

I thought there was but I don't know how they define hill. They're definately pretty large gradients but they do tend to put them closer to the bottom.

Talking about bad roads in NSW whats up with the city (CBD)? That would have to be the worst ever constructed and designed layout ever!!! Seriously compared to Melbourneís CBD, Sydney is mayhem.
I donít know much about the other cities but I couldnít imagine any other being worse.

QLD roads are Shocking, wheres Peter Beatie? oh thats right hes down at the cop shop trying to get his wife outta a drink driving charge.

QLD Roads suck, trust me i blew a $550 SP9000 on them during Christmas, that was fun being 100 kms away from a town with an 80 KM speed rated tyre.
