I had a look a couple of different AU1 XR's today in order to compare the deal I got on my car. A couple of odd things I noticed.

The interior is slightly different on mine. Small things like front electrics.

Also I have only seen 1 other Liquid silver AU1. Can anyone explain why my AU is slightly different to other AU1 XR's?

The AU received a minor update in '99 with front electric windows and lower rear suspension among the changes. This is seperate from the 2000 AU series II.

Should be happy with your car as they really got it sorted with the AU1 upgrade, suspension was lowered an inch from the factory which actually made the AU look decent that the previous 4WD spec height, even the brake booster was bigger to counter the poor brake performance of the first release AU's.
