Previous sad thread made me wonder why mum's are just the best. So maybe we could all mention why we love our mums so much.

Even though my mum is not here any more, I loved her because:

- she put up with all my crap
- she really did have massive amounts of wisdom
- she taught me heaps
- she never let on when she was crook
- she was always willing to listen to me
- she was a great cook (God I miss her meals!)
- she supported my endeavours (even with reservations)
- she was always there for me, any time.

And heaps and heaps of reasons more!

My mum always knows when I'm upset & is always there for me. She makes the best chocolate apple cake.....mmmm..... She's a truely remarkable lady, she's put up with alot from us kids but always has a positive attitude. Even when things seem to be at their worst, she's our rock & I love her to bits.

I'd actually like to say the same as above about my Dad. I dont get along with my Mum but I adore my Dad. He is the best Dad to me and Poppa to my kids that you could ever want. He's always there to help me out, and other people, he's always funny, he's smart, he loves Fords and cars and he is the most unselfish person I know. I would be nothing without him and I dont know how I would cope without him. Him and my kids are my whole world.

I love my mum.... Gets me out of debt all the time.... Take this last example.... Her car got stolen and burnt out... So I gave her my EB Ghia so that she had something to drive and so my lil sis (4yo) didn't have to walk and catch the bus. She paid off the loan ($6,300) and spent $4,500 on fixing it up. Now she is selling it back to me for $2,000 outright.
