XR8 Lamah

Bah !
When I left for work this morning, it was kinda dark ( as it is at 5:30 ), but not enough not to notice the odd brown colour of my normally white car. On closer inspection, it seemed to have been coated in dirt :(

Needless to say, I felt the urge at that point to water the lawn ( don't you hate it when the car just keeps jumping between the hose and the lawn ? ) (if this doesn't make sense, sydney has water restrictions atm, banning hosing of cars - yeah right ).

I'm in the north of Sydney ( near hornsby ), anyone else in Sydney get dumped on ?

Dirty moisture as a result of a dust storm out Broken Hill way yesterday afternoon. Apparently the result of a number of atmospheric conditions and humidty that all combined together last night.

ARGH It's not fair!

I happened to have a day off yesterday. So I spent a large chunk of yesterday washing the XR. Which, thanks to the new water regulations, took about twice as long as normal (LOL funny thing is only using buckets, and not using the hose to rinse, actually uses a lot more water!).

Anyhow, I get up this morning to notice that the car is covered in dirt! Friggen Fantastic! It actually looks worse than it was yesterday! Guess my lawn will get watered tonight as well.

I'm in newcastle and my car is covered in it. Thought it a bit strange, seeing I only washed it yesterday.

its too wet & cold to bother washing the car in winter, but when summer rolls around its just too dusty.
every time i wash the car it would be covered in dust by the end of the day
