I got a EA falcon S mpi. I dont really wanna do the engine up as its a auto and I plan on selling the thing at the end of the year. I wanted to 'customise' it a little went ot super cheap thought what can i buy but im not sure if these thing will/wont make me rice.

1. Xeon head light tubes.. The ones that show white on the road instead of the ordinary orange colour. I was thinking of getting these not to be rice but to have white on the road instead and just something different, but im affaird to be classed as rice and laughed at. ?

2. Clear indicators (front).. As you know you can buy clear indicators instead of the orange ones at the front for ea falcons will this make me rice ?

3. Foggies... Dun really wanna do this as they do nothing ! I tried them in my dads statesman they just light up the side of the road. I was just gonnna put them on i dunno just ot use show anything but im worried i may be rice again !

4. Exhaust tip.. I hate having a slow car but dont wanna spend any money on the engine so I was thinking just buying one of them $18 tips at super cheap but not sure if id be ricey.

Nothing else at the moment dont really wanna spend much money as u can see because i plan to sell it. Though i dont want to be rice.

Xeon - Not a worry. It gives better vision at night

Clear Indicators - Once again, it's a fashion statement in order to make it go with the headlights.

Foggies - That's a decision up to you. If you put Xeons no need

Exhaust tip - I've seen heaps of those. It just makes the rear look cleaner.

The above is my opinion. I see no worries with those that you have described so I would go ahead with those! Not a ricer in my eyes.

Who cares if anyone thinks your car would be rice for doing any of this stuff to it. How old are you? 8? Talk about a slave to other people's opinion's!

Having said that, I agree that nothing on your list would be rice - until you put them on your car. Then I, if no-one else, will judge it to be a ricer. But only because you are so worried about it. lol.

Hi mate go with what you feel would look good on your car as your the one that is driving it. All those mods you would like to do would make the overall apperance better of the car. But with the money you spend on all those mods im sure you could come close to being able to afford a new exhaust or maybe a cam or something. Your car is your car dont be to worried about if its going to be Rice or not (im not a fan of rice but there is a few things i like) Its all personal preferance. I would not be to worried about what people think its only an opinion im sure there are plenty of people out there that like these mods and also plenty that dont. But Who GAF

Xeon or whatever they are called are almost $2000... maybe what you want are the Optic White ones you get at almost every car part store. They cost $30 and give you whitish light.

For a ricey exhaust tip, i saw an old rust bucket vallient in terrible condition but had a set of blue LED's around the exhaust tip... almost died laughing, but it can look nice...

Nah, that doesn't sound ricey to me. If anything, what you're doing is practical for the car. And if its practical, it's not rice.

Except for the foggies, I've done all of those mods to my EA and I've never considered myself a ricer, nor has anyone else for that matter. With the exhaust tip, don't get a huge one. Just a subtle one will look quite neat.

Don't waste your money.
If you're going to sell it soon, then keep the money towards your next car.
Decide what you want, then work towards making it go, stop, and handle.
Then use the element of surprise!

If you need to change any of those things you've listed, then a headlight upgrade is always a good idea.

A decent engine upgrade will ALWAYS beat a new exhaust tip!!
