Question Will "The Car" ever fly

Ok after what Kelli said about the ideal car, it has got me thinking?

Will the car we see today eventually fly, ie like the Jetsons, thinking that freeways are always blocked etc, it could be possible, what does everyone think????

And yes i'm on not on drugs thinking about this.:crazy1:

I think it already has.

There was a TV show around in the ?"60's about a bloke with a car that converted into a plane with Bob somebody as the lead actor. No idea what the show was about now, but I have a feeling the vehicle was something that might have been produced in small numbers.

Got a feeling there's been a few prototypes or small production runs of car/planes over the years.

Also car boats. I remember a VW Beetle going across ?Hong Kong Harbour in the '60's or '70's with minor sealing improvements. Anyone who remembers a new Beetle will recall that it was wise to open a window before shutting the doors in some, they were that well sealed. Can't remember what it used for propulsion, maybe just special tyres with big lugs.

to fly effectively without wasting natural resources, we would have to discover a way to block out gravity. i believe it can be done, but not at this stage - we do not have the technology or knowledge to do something like that.

one day...

Sure we do!

Just gotta find something to keep that Anti-matter together without instantaneously cancelling each other out.

anit matter? ok, you're getting a bit too technical for me there! hehe

there has to be a way. we can artificially create gravity in space, so we should be able to reverse the process on earth.
