Exactly right i cant see an 18k gap. Id guess GT will start at 60 but then you would need to ad Brembos etc and you could take it to R8 price and spec level easily. As for GTP maybe a straight up Senator competitor with the lot.

Whether it has 300 or 330 kw its the power to weight that will matter. Yes i expect that GT will be quicker than Clubsport etc but dont forget the Clubsport has 100kg less than an XR8 let alone a GT which will probly be another 50kg over XR8. My point is 320 kw is all well and good but if most {or alot} of the extra power is there to compensate for its bulk you should'nt just think that X amount of power will cost so much more than a Clubsport when in the real world it might be a couple of tenths quicker. Should buyers be forced to pay so much more for the extra power if its not a net gain due to the weight?

I have a GT-P on order and have put a ceiling subject to price of 75K
I was told by the dealer whom I know personally that the GT is 180Kw and the GT-P is 300Kw the GTHO which is not signed off yet is around 350Kw supercharged.

seriously the power figures the guy told you, probably knows as much as we do. I think the GT-P would be more than 70k, i reckon the GT would probably be that much.

Well your dealer doesnt have his facts, David Flint told us last week the GT and GTP will have the same power output, with the GTP having a higher luxury level as the only difference. When we asked him about GTHO he said the GTHO name is still in the cupboard, they will do something with it in the future but at this stage they havent even looked at, they will be conducting market research in the new year to see what people want in the GTHO. So nothing exists about the GTHO at he moment.

When you say an output of 280kw for the GT it seems too low....maybe that is because of people speculating too much by saying that the GT would have the GT40 engine with 370kw yada yada yada...bringing ppl's expectations up too high....speculate all you want....but within reason

GT = 280KW @ less than $65,000
GT-P = 300KW @ about $75,000
