Well, I am not a fan of my job. Nope, I don't like it at all. But I guess it's better than not getting paid.
...Oh wait. I didn't get paid. It seems that for the 2nd time in as many months, the Corporate office had neglected to send my store it's paychecks. Our checks were due to us on the 23rd. All the other stores were getting theirs a bit late, so at first we were not too worried. At 3pm, we were getting anxious as the banks would be closing in a bit, and all of us needed to deposit our checks. We called payroll in Phoenix, asking if everything was ok, and they told us not to call back until 4pm. Cool, no problem.
4pm rolls around and now we are having a problem. Our checks had still not arrived, and we were getting really nervous. first we called the carrier company who delivered our checks. They had no record of them even being sent to us!
We called payroll at a little after 4pm....and they were closed! Nobody was there to find where our pay was. Bastards.
Now I had to pay my car payment on the 23rd. Needless to say that it was not paid. Add all the bills and things that the other people I work with are now having to pay late and you have a big problem as far as late fees and credit rating stuff. ....Just so mad....
