work has finaly comenced on project hrd.yka460 super ute haveing owned this xy for a year now it has finaly found home in my shed :) i started attacking it with a wire brush on a grinder today and the worst i have found so far is a little putty over some old lead filling so nothing but top notch bodywork has been found so far will update tomomrow with some pics after work if its not too dark. less some one here can get me new fluro,s and starters for my lights cheap
i am useing a makita grinder now is older than the ryobi but much better it dosent seent to vibrate as much but it did a bearing the other day but i found one out of an old husky wipper snipper motor fitted no worrys but its makeing noise again it will go again soon im sure i should get pics of the dead grinders
It would be cheaper to by a 4lt of paint stripper, scratch the serface up with a little bit of 40 grit sand paper, and put that on. :) and a lot quicker and easier. :)
