During the discussions with TeamGT over the weekend I learnt (amongst other things) that the cost of running a car for a single round is in the order of $8-10k.

Out of a semi humourous comment has come this:

I hardly need any additional exposure for my business as we can't cope with the workload at present but I see it as a good opportunity for this forum to gain some valuable exposure.

I presume the round concerned would be Mallala in a few weeks time.

I'd love to chip in.... couldn't be a huge amount though.

Currently working on a way to make a bit of a weekend out of the event (ie, if I don't take the missus, I don't get to go at all!).... plus there's no point going to SA without a visit to the barossa!

Sorry, but I wouldn't be able to contribute. I just moved house...and have to support myself a fair bit more now. I also think I might have to change ISPs at the new place if I get disconnected like I did the first time I connected.

Otherwise I probably would have contributed a (small) amount.
