XD GOSS pic

Heres a pic of one i scanned from an old ford mag. Anyone seen one before? Ive heard people go on about they dont exist and the XA special was his last so im thinking it was a dealer package. Any info would be nice.

Re: XD GOSS pic

I thought it was a dealer pack. In 1988, a bloke built one up for the burnout comp at the summernats... number plate was 88NATS.

His was a factory 6 cylinder with the dealer fitted body kit. but he put in an injected clevo that would do very high rpm... big dollar car in its day.

cars are a lethal weapon,your not invinsible when you get into one,and no matter how much skill you think you have,you are never in control you are always on the edge of death it may not happen today but if you keep driving like you do,you too will end up dead!

You can still buy parts of that kit:

As for collectability - IMO an ESP XD rates Higher;
It was just a body kit... and those wheels look like 14s to me.

Yes it was Kerry...
I loved those injection trumpets poking through the bonnet scoop. And it could really fry those fat rear treads. Very Yummy!!!

Re: XD GOSS pic

After looking at the pic posted above, that green car looked more like it had a Dick Johnson, Grand Prix kit on it.
I will try to find a pic.

You going to FPV?

Re: XD GOSS pic

I can't make the FPV day this year, too much work at the moment; I'm trying to get to the Shannons thingo in Canberra next weekend.

I tried to find a pic of that XD online, but have not been able to.. It was on the cover of a Roaring Fordies mag as well.
