XF derby car wins "Best Ford" at show
The Campbelltown Car, Rod & Bike Show is on Sunday 7th April at Menangle Park Paceway. The car show is being held in conjunction with the Campbelltown City Show, and any profits go to the Childrens Ward at Campbelltown Hospital.
Plenty of entertainment - apart from cars. Amusement rides, sideshow alley, arts & crafts, commercial displays, dancers, bands, stunt drivers, etc.
Apart from a few Mustangs that have entered, the only Aussie Ford that has shown any interest is an XF smash up derby car!!! It would be sad to give him the Best Early Ford Trophy and the Best Modern Ford Trophy - sponsored by Rod Lawrence Ford.
Last year they donated a collectable car for the prize, must be worth at least $150, probably the same this year.
There are always plenty of Holdens that enter, but where are the Fords this year???
