What year was the XF ute made until? Also what engine did it have in it's final incarnation?

The reason I am asking is because a guy I work with has one which has plates saying it was made in dec 91 and it has a carby 250 engine, his mechanic says this should not be so.

All 1991 XF utes and vans were carby 4.1L. And thats including the panel vans too.
The 1993 XG ute was the first too be EFI.

sorry, AND the XF ute was made until 1993, when the XG ute came in.
Hope this helped. All XF being 250 4.1L.

Yep, all utes of the XF model were carby, none came out with EFI from the factory.
