XR drawing - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

My brother does artwork for Motorsport News and he has been asked to supply a drawing of the BA supercar (or our idea of it) , the rough drawing is being sent to Ford today and they will be "suggesting" alterations to the drawing to make it accurate.
So i guess that the final drawing in MN will be pretty close to how the XR will look.
Cant wait to get home from work to see it.......

Whats to say that the Supercar will be based off the XR again?

The AU was the first time it was ever based off it.

I actually wouldnt mind seeing it go back to being modeled off the base falcon/fairmont front.
It would make it that little more 'in touch' with the road car....I know there are XR's so people can relate, but there are more base models than performance ones.

Anyway, its just an idea in my head.

Yeah, they could always of modelled the 1999 AU supercar off of my car
It may be badged an AU forte but not much of it actually base model
Probably the first forte in australia with painted , body color front grille and 3 inch lowered suspension, spoiler, color coded interior.
Why o why didn't FORD sell the AU with a body color grille in the first place. Might of sold more.
