Dear Geoff,

My wish list for the XR series is that the XR horn has some balls & is distinguishable from the rest of the BA series (but maybe similar for the classier models like Fairmont etc).

Have you noticed how all SS drivers wear sunglasses, even at night?

It's not to look cool (although that's not so hard to do in an SS), but to avoid recognition from having to utilise the aforementioned horn on a road-hogging For....errr....vehicle :)

I'd love to fit a train horn or similar. That'll scare the crap out of people who don't know how to drive!

Conversely, I'd love one of those vintage car horns. I can't describe the sound but they're so damn funny.

Maybe have a switch on the dash to select between normal, vintage and train horns.

My SS has Vectra horns :s6: - because they are louder and cheaper than the Calais dual horns.

But agree about the standard horn in both Falcon and Commodore, abosolutely impossible to convey anger with.

Maybe they could replace the horn with an amplified Falcon/eagle-screech - they'd scare anyone.

My ED has twin airhorns too! Its so loud, my friends EBII has only one and I piss on him when we use them!

Buy one of those aerosol cans that they use to start "Its a knockout!" with. They only cost about five bucks and they absolutely scare the crap out of people. Do cabbies use standard horns? They always sound bloody loud to me
