my parents have got an ELXR and dad asked me the other day about the club. I didnt know too much about it, but i thought who better to ask than you guys! what does the club do? i told him they have drag / dyno / track days as well as cruises and shows and stuff...but im only guessing

also how much to join, and are there any perks? cmon guys, help me get him to join, i reckon he'd love it! the xr has replaced his pride and joy, a 302W 1969 GT capri - he has blue blood too!

oops yeh minge i have seen that before...but i was hoping to get some members reports on whats happened - you know, how they had a great day and everything...good reports to try and encourage him to join

Your a bit far from Melb for a club meeting., but we are planning new events shortly., so keep an eye on the calender!

I can add abit here.

Last year the club hire out Winton Raceway, and all that attended had a great day, forget the No's, approx 40+ Cars, well organised track day.

Last Sunday, the club hire out the Mangalore Airstrip, Great Timed event over 900 Metres. There were some great times. again well organized. As we are Cams Affiliated we operate to Cams guidelines, Our Club has great organisors for track work, safety is No 1.

We also have Cars Displays, to many to talk about also support V8 Supercar events with attendance when in Melbourne.

We have good relationships with some Ford Dealer's whom look after Club Members.

We are currently arranging a cruise with the HSV Club along with other events.

All members are good people, and have good times together.

But Im biased, the Club, Ford, & Tickford are my passion.

its really good and worthwhile and you also get discounts and special treatment from a lot of places, so get him to join, come to our next meeting, its the first tuesday of every month at the "Whitehorse Inn"
it's really good and heap of nice guys with cool cars !'

The guys in the Victorian XR Club run an excellent event. Our Club (Falcon G.T. Club of Geelong) have been invited to compete with the XR Club many times and have always had a top day. They run the days are well and they make everyboby feel welcome.
