looking at a new car in the next year or so, wondering if the new ba's are going to come with the boss eng option?

went onto the ford site and no luck.

at this point its safe to assume that the Boss motors wil stay with the XR8 etc..

youd need a bonnet bulge on the fairmont ghia to fit the engine, that would look a bit weird..... maybe they put a better exhaust or something on it just to make it a bit more special then the other 3 valve v8's

Yeah, I'm having dreams of a FPV 290 in a AU1 XR8. Can anyone tell me if it's possible, what's involved? would it fit easily? I know the bonnet is going to need major surgery, but what else?

Just buy an XR8, option it with leather, premium sound, reverse parking sensors, side airbags, electric pedals and wahla, you have a BA XR8 GHIA.

Anyway i reckon just S/C the 220 V8 = Ultimate sleeper

i love taking down turbo 4 bangers in my car, they always think oh yeah heavy fairmont lux car with crap n/a 6 in it.

hehehehe

then they don't even look at you at the next set of lights, mainly because i am pissing my self over there crappy rice decals all over the car

hey man dont bag out all turbo 4's
i got a turbo tx3...goes pretty good it front wheel drive..all go and no show...all stock on the outside,even the wheels lol.im not a big fan of stickers and wings...i have choppped a few cars,but hardly race against ppl at lights and that...but i love the new falcons....especially the xr8...in a few months i most probly will b trading my car on a xr8 ute....i luv em :)
