In the Falcon brochure, it lists that the XR8 will have 17" wheels as standard. OK, so it was produced a long time ago, and things are obviously subject to change.

Rumour on this website suggests that the 18's might be standard, and that the XR8 might even get leather as standard.

But interestingly enough, the newly released Exterior Interactive feature on the www.newfalcon.com.au website shows the XR8 with 17" rims as standard, and 18" rims as optional.

Curious, don't you think? This interactive thing was only turned on around December 19 - so I wonder if it has been just sitting there waiting, if it is using the same info as the brochure, or if the info on the std XR8 rims really IS up to date?

Oh, and the original bonnet bulge is still there too.

HOWEVER, the Exterior PICS of the XR8 have been removed. Something is about to happen. It might even be happening as I type this (Dec 20).

The pricing on the Xr8 has just been released. No specifications has come with it. On January 2 we will have full list of option pricing and exact specifications so untill then every stroke of the keyboard speculating features etc is just a waste of time. CHEERS

Seeing the stock XR6's now have the standard kit and 17" wheels, I'd hope the XR8 has more than a bonnet bulge and different front bumper to differentiate it. As for leather, let it be an option for people who want it.

I agree, I don't really like the leather they offer and then there's that problem of seats being too hot to sit on in summer time.

I cant find a price or anything yet!!!!!!!!! whats the deal fellas? And also all the pictures have change on the website. They are all from that in interactive thing and it now shows the Fairmont with Foglamps(thats very very wrong) so i hope ford sorts that out.
