Have a friend who is wanting to advertise his Falcon XR8 Ute 2000 Model series 2. He's not sure what price to ask for it. Here are the details.

Silver Metallic, 44,000 Klm's, Leather Interior, Momo Wheel and Gear shifter, Manual Transmission, Storage Bins, Electric Windows, Air, 6 Stack cd, ABS, 12 months rego.

Ute is in nothing short of perfect condition. Please can you all give me your thoughts on what this is worth on a private sale level.....not wholesale.

Redbook, the scourge of anyone trying to sell!! I reckon those prices are pessimistic. From what I've seen around the yards around $28K to $30K seems to be the range most people are asking. Do a search on Carsales and Carpoint, also Trading Post online.

There's plenty of them around though, it may not be easy to move. It is a buyers market. Trying to sell privately...... what a f**king headache!!!

FWIW I paid NZ$26,500 for a 2000 50k AUII XR8 auto Winter White ute... no aftermarket add-ons when I bought it; I think the price was fair.
