hi guys

Im looking at buying a xy ute and it has a worked 351, full respray, shaker hanging out of the bonnet, 9 inch diff and top loader gearbox . The motor was done about a year ago so still fresh and the car is imacculate.

what price would be suitable? he is asking 8000, which seems ok to me for what the ute is.

$8k sounds alright if it's as tidy as you mentioned above. Do you know if the motor was converted to run ulp?

Sounds like a reasonable price, infact it's probley too cheap. Normal asking price is around the $15,000K for an XY in the condition you describe it. Any pictures and further information would be highly desirable yldsix

guys

its through a friend of mine so thats why it is cheap but yeah its a very quick ute.

no i dont have pics yet but if all goes well i will be going back on the weekend to check it all out properly.

this guy has spent thousands on this ute to get it to where it is today and he hardly drives it

Well im sort of bias towards XW/XY's and thats pretty much a reasonable price to pay for what sounds like a good looking and fast going ute.

What sort of interior does it have eg Fairmont, Falcon......buckets or bench.....GT dash????
