Hey Guys,

I have a Physics assignment on car safety due tomorrow. I have most of the project done except I need some equations on the physics of car safety.

Are any of you guys out there good at physics?

Any chance of anyone providing some worked example's about the way car safety features are deployes in a car?

If any one could, it'd be great :s5

I had the same assignment in year 11!!!
I had to list all of the active and passive safety features of a car - i chose the Porsche 911 Turbo... I dunno if i still have the assignment somewhere..... I'll look tonight for ya.

AAHAHAHHAH!!! I JUST FINSHED THAT.... oh dear...

Except we talked about things like Impulse, and Cushoning (V=F/t) So if a force is cushioned Ie: crumple zones, makes a(longer time of impact).Then the overall net force on the drivers is lesser. (less force acting on the bodies and objects within, which have alot of inertia.)

It is interesting... sometimes!
