I just put a deposit down on a VERY VERY cheap Frog Racing™ special EAII Ghia. I'll mainly be keeping the parts off this one for myself. It has pretty bad front damage, goes evenly across up to the pulleys. I'll probably still get it started though.
The car must have belonged to some EA fan who didn't find the club. It has been all sprayed and had a kit, wheels, lowering etc. All of that stuff has been removed though.
It's not staying at my place lol, it'll be staying in a paddock at my mate's place in Kilsyth. My Mum won't be too happy if I bring another one home...not to mention my neighbours
I'm pretty sure house values might suffer as a result of bringing another one home as well
Specs are as follows:
-Custom black paint
-Had a kit, been pulled off. Only things remaining are a rear skirt and spoiler.
-4 speed auto.
-Brand new head, possibly worked.
-Frog Racing sticker on front guards and rear window.
-3.23 LSD
-Velour interior, pretty good condition
-Trip computer, climate control, cruise control. All the buttons etc. are in perfect condition.
-Power windows.
It was a damn bargain. I was after the interior and power windows etc. for a while. I actually called up to ask how much he wanted to sell the interior for. I ended up bargaining him down about 40% of what he initially wanted.
I'm thinking of transferring all of the loom except the engine loom so I can get all the Ghia features top to bottom. I don't know if the 5 speed wiring is on the engine loom or the accessories loom though?!? Can anyone clear that up??
I've also chosen a colour for my re-spray too btw. The new BA colour 'Envy'. I've got some nice straight doors sitting in my garage awaiting to get some minor dents ironed out. Also chosen some nice wheels and stuff
I'll probably only be able to afford two of those wheels though lol. I should start my re-spray soon, just waiting on some nice weather and SPHELL to have some free time.
I'll get some pics on the weekend or whenever.
