Re: You can't fight in here, this is the war room!
Classic name, from a classic movie!
Wow, they give an american car a poor review, and that makes them like men?
Gee, I dunno about that...
I also would have to disagree with english cars being bad.
I would say that english cars can be pretty good, so long as you get one that runs for longer than 5 minutes...
Who built the GT40 again?

My god. That is amazing.
I read almost 7pages of that (started skipping through it at the end). I have to be carefull to not act like them and say "bloody americans" and say "bloody coverette enthusiasts that cant take bad feedback"
Geez...
I was thinking the same thing as this quote.... but not in so many words :D
"Bloody hell! A couple of mincer TV presenters cast some misinformed dispersions on the C6 so the whole UK has to be nuked! It's good to see that the global perception of Americans as ignorant, xenophobic f***wits isn't being reinforced here."
Re: You can't fight in here, this is the war room!
Well I can understand where they are coming from after watching that video, it was ****ing shameful the way they went on. I know if it was a European car, they would have been singing praises of it. Maybe Chev should have stuck some Alfa or BMW badge on it before they gave it to the Top Gear crew. Clarkson is so ill informed, he would have probably fallen for it.
I'm sure if Ford sent the XR6T or F6 over and it got the same reception, the same sort of stuff would be said on here, except maybe the war comments.
Re: You can't fight in here, this is the war room!
I can see where these guys are coming from. The guys on the show were carrying on like absolute tossers. And the guy at the end just kept going on and on about the leaf springs, he couldn't get over it.
