Your automotive peak?

Just want to know what you all think is the company at the peak of the automotive industry. I want you to consider style, technology, innovation, reliability, useability, safety and quality. I just want to know what people think when they here the above companies mentioned. I think I have covered the majority.

Re: Your automotive peak?

Honestly I dont think I could pick just one...they all have their own good points. And most companies are working on similar technologies anyway.

Ferrari, porsche et al are all exceptions has they aren't in the same league IMO.

If I had to chose, I would say BMW incorporates all of the critera the best.

Re: Your automotive peak?

Im with you ill say BMW comes closest based on the points mentioned. Would have to build amougst the best mass produced engines in the world.

If your talking AMG E55 might as well include Ferrari and Porsche on the list.

Then it would be Porsche for me as an overall package.

Re: Your automotive peak?

Definitley Mercedes-Benz. Apart from inventing the car.. they also happen to make the best products available. And I agree with Casper, E55 AMG in a heartbeat!

Re: Your automotive peak?

Merc for me.
I might be a bit biased, due to my grandpappy being a big M-B man, but to me their cars encompass all these areas. I'm really not sure why a lot of people reckon BMW's are better... to me MB just pips them in a lot of areas.
Oh, and I'll have an E55 too.

Re: Your automotive peak?

Actually, if you want the truth.. my greats are Mercedes-Benz/VW/Audi/Porsche. Sorry BMW, you don't make the cut!
