for those who didn't know, I have bought a new business in the wonderful world of ECHUCA!!!!

A new vehicle will be required there, and a ute is the only vehicle that will fit our needs up there!


so i ask you all these questions.......

(1) Standard V8 ute or XR6? - no other option can be considered (money is an issue - this is a work ute not a play vehicle).

(2) What options? (it will comute to Melbourne often)

(3) it will be covered in sign writing - and one of our company colours is orange. Should i get a white ute or a manderin?

(4) A canopy is required - which brand is the best and why?

(5) I have thought about advertising the forums on the ute (in BIG GRAPHIC DESIGN) good idea or not in your opinion?

Feel free to add any other ideas - (nothing stupid please) as we are looking for some new and interesting concepts.

there's a white BA XR6 where i am, it has a canopy and it looks great (and i HATE canopies on utes).

If i were you i wouldnt put Fordforums down the side in huge letters, maybe on the tailgate or something though - this ute is for your business, not the use of everyone on the forums (however if youd like me to drive it for a while.......).

Id go a 220 V8 and (much to the disgust of the purists) put a bulge bonnet on it. Why? cos its attention grabbing, and combined with the signage you should be advertising your business very well in that machine.

I'd make it look like the ute was engraved with your details, seeing as engraving is your business.

Yeah I reckon thats the go with the signs on the ute. Get them airbrushed so they look like they have been engraved.

white is the colour as well as it requires minimal effort to keep looking smick and you dont see many white BA's either so that'll help with the standing out...

I'd go the 8 purely because in this case it's a tax write off anyways

Definitely! A BA XR6 in Mandarin/Blood Orange with white decals. It'd remain professional, but also get more attention over a base model ute and would look classy at the same time. The I6 has ample amount of towing torque already
