cant wait. will be on a plane and there in person (mrs rsgerry is welcome to come along too) to watch the superstars of the world wrestling federation battle it out.
the fact that the not - too - foul stacy keibler will be there has no influence on my decision.

I knew a few people that were WWF crazy, though must admit it doesn't interest me. Just my opinion though.

As much as I tell everyone that WWF is a joke, I still find when I come across it channel hopping, that I tend to find myself watch it for a while. :crazy2: :s3

I love WWF! I've been in withdrawl symptons since a mate left work, as he had Foxtel and would bring tapes weekly for me, including PPVs.
Before some bozo says 'it's fake!' - WE KNOW. Well, depends how you define fake. It's scripted, and wrestlers map out 'spots' - things that are intended, but the rest is ad-lib - and it hurts. They train to minimise damage, but the more athletic guys can do serious injuries, including spine damage from mis-timed high-risk stuff. It's not a sport, it's sports-entertainment - and sometimes it can be very entertaining, even if it can be cheesy at times! If I can find people to go with I'll probably check it out. :s3

Say what you like about it being staged.
Is that the reason you don't watch it????????
If that is the reason you probably don't go to the movies either i guess as they are all staged aswell.
Lots of coriography and practise is a requirement for ANY show.
I'm not saying it's the greatest show on earth, but i'm sure they just don't walk into the ring and try to beat the opposition into pulp.
On a personal note, i think they put on pretty good show and am amazed at times at the moves they come up with.Good on em.
I watched a WWF show recently (one before Wrestle Mania) after not having watched for months.
Good to see old Hollywood Hulk Hogan (shit he is old) still competing after the merger of WCW and WWF.
i'll take a martial arts movie anyday... jackie chan, bruce lee, jean claude van damme, carradine. in 10 years time we'll turn back and think "what the hell were we thinking"
to each their own, but WWF will never replace the good old martial arts movies, despite it's popularity. just because it's popular, it doesn't mean it's good
