Your transmission is the E4OD. The AOD is a manual overdrive...as opposed to the electronic overdrive on the E4OD.
Yes, code 62 is excessive converter slippage or a torque converter clutch error. That's usually a sign that it's time to replace the torque converter. It requires removing the transmission and transfer case which isn't the easiest of jobs on the Bronco because of their weight but it's not that bad. If you don't feel like doing the job yourself I would recommend taking it to a reputable tranny shop in your area and let them do the work for you. Labor will be the biggest cost of the job.
