I was wondering if i could find some info on putting a 3.8L out of a front wheel drive car into an '88 bronco 2. Or if anyone knows if a guy can stroke out the 2.9l to get a 3.8. possibly just put a 3.8 crank in the 2.9l?
I am looking for close to some of the same info. Prob be better off putting in like a 4.0 explorer motor or something. I have an 89 Bronco II with a blown engine
From what I have read the 4.0 will bolt right in but you will what a trans that was made for the 4.0, what I am thinking about doing is a 5.0 swap from a crown vic in my 88 bronco II.
