mad 300 fried going diesel

Is it possible to drop a 7.3L my 86 base model?

what people have to relize..... anything is possible.... how much money do u have? is it worth it? is the truck worth it? ask ur self many questions before hand...

The wiring is the easyest part there is one 12volt wire that goes to the top of the injector pump.
I think it might be easer to find a 3/4 ton diesel 4x4 hit in the rear that you could get all the sus parts from. and the transfer cas and trans.
There is a very good reason ford never put a 7.3 in a 1/2 ton truck. It just weighs too much for the suspension.
