Okay I have a 1981 bronco with a 351w from a 76 econoline in it. I just bought it from my father. It is bored 40 over but thats all i know so far. It currently has a Holley 750dp on it that needs replaced. Any suggestions on a good streetable carb/manifold combo? Im going to be building a new 351 for it over the next year so I just need something easily tunable to last till then.
Im trying to spend under 500 for the carb. My father told me not to bother rebuilding it because even when it was in good working condition the carb was very difficult to keep tuned and when he would get it perfect within a couple weeks he would have to mess with it again.
